A democracy

<A Democracy, 2017>

<A Democracy, 2017> is my third political work after <Reform of Politic, 26th Sao Paulo Biennale, 2004> , and <Reform of Politic, 2007>, which was unpublished.
I collected about 150,000 media articles for the production of this work, and reviewed and reconstructed the contents.
Based on these articles, I took the time to move to September, 2016, looking closely at the entire scandal of Choi, Soon-sil and Park Geun-hye and trying to find out what happened.
After selecting and rearranging the headlines of the journals, I decided to reveal the position by putting in a specific color face, and decided to announce it through the medium of Facebook, instagram, Blog etc, for a certain period. This work will last for a while, but it may soon disappear and it may restart at some point. I have been asked how art should exist today, and this work has also been designed in that context.
